Executive Director & Founder Jessica has been helping the community since she was a young child.
She has held numerous leadership positions both locally and nationally. Jessica was the Allentown Human Relations President. She has severed on and establish several non-profits in the community that service community needs.
She serves on the Government Affairs Board both locally and nationally. She created laws and policy for the citizens. She is an influencer. Jessica's non-profit career officially started 2012 when she saw a need in her local community. She decided to take her knowledge and skills and help strengthen others before establishing her own.
That career move lead her to the The Ortiz Ark Foundation where her and her family could continue to do their families life work on a larger scale. Jessica is an enthusiast and very passionate. She loves being a mother, wife, cooking, drawing & writing. She is also a published author since the age of 15. Ortiz holds many titles and is executive chef, certified in Public Relations, Certified Transformational Leadership, Licensed Realtor & Minister.
She is a true Allentonian and loves her city.
COO & Founder Oscar has dedicated himself to rebuilding.
Oscar's passion is what makes him such an amazing leader. Oscar has taken all of his life's hurdles, struggles, and adversities snd used them as teaching skills to grow others. Oscar has been mentoring men for many years and now provides them with life skills and sharpens the talents that are within themselves.
Oscar works with young men and women of the community offering guidance and mentorship while highlighting their talents and skills.
Oscar is born in Brooklyn NY but moved to Allentown and has developed and love for the city and its people. Oscar has developed programs to strengthen individuals and families.
Jeani Garcia is a Community leader & Social Activist with over 7 years of helping her community. After having lost her precious son Kareem to gun violence in 2012 , Jeani has dedicated her life to helping teenagers & young adults transition out of gangs & connect them with people who love them & resources to support them.She has also started the support group Mother 2 Mother, She has been at the side of mothers and families who have also lost their loved ones to gun violence.Jeani is instrumental in creating a safe place for herself and fellow grieving mothers on the journey of grieving & healing as well as processing their collective hurt and sadness.Outside of working with mothers, teenagers & young adults, Jeani is very active in supporting individuals that are in desperate need of housing, safety, food & other necessities to sustain quality of life. Jeani is vocal in the community & a respected leader who promotes change, unity & peace for everyone.
Jaciris Arzola has dedicated the last eleven years of her life, to helping Allentown’s inner-city youth. She has been actively involved in mentoring programs statewide helping kids in our communities stay out of trouble and also finding their paths in life. Jaciris is currently the Forensic Case Manager for The Lehigh Valley Conference of Churches. She prides herself in serving others and making it her priority that their needs are met before her own. Her passion for creating an atmosphere of growth for our upcoming generation is to be admired. Jaciris has also worked with troubled youth and crisis for over eight years. Her relationship with young mothers and children is to be truly admired. She has a passion for children, and a strong value for education. She has formed relationships with not only co-workers but also community leaders. Jaciris is a strong believer that you get what you work for and being a part of this foundation is merely the start of a legacy.
QB has taken all his life adversities and struggles to become the most dedicated youth leaders. He is one of the most passionate leaders the community has leading youth groups, volunteer activities, and community activities. A friendly people person with strong leadership abilities and the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse youth and young adults. Adept at helping youth relate to life's truths to real-world situations.
